NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR LOCAL ADOPTION OF THE BLUEPRINT BRUNSWICK 2040 PLAN (COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN AND PARKS & RECREATION MASTER PLAN)

Notice Is Hereby Given That the Town of Navassa will Conduct a Public Hearing On June 15, 2023, At 7:00 pm to Review the Blueprint Brunswick 2040 Plan that includes the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Parks & Recreation Master Plan. The meeting will be held in the multipurpose room located at 338 Main Street, Navassa, NC. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.

Following the public hearing, the Town of Navassa will consider the adoption of the Blueprint Brunswick 2040 Plan (Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Parks & Recreation Master Plan).

Once adopted, the Blueprint Brunswick 2040 Plan will be submitted to the director of the North Carolina Division of Coastal Management for certification. Written objections, comments, or statements of support shall be submitted to the Division of Coastal Management’s District Planner, Mike Christenbury, no more than 30 calendar days after the local adoption of the plan. Copies of the Blueprint Brunswick 2040 Plan are available for review by the public at the Brunswick County Planning Department during normal business hours and online at www.BlueprintBrunswick2040.com. The public is encouraged to review the Blueprint Brunswick 2040 Plan and to attend the public hearing.
