In August of 2010 the Town of Navassa started its own building inspections and permitting department by contracting with SAFEbuilt Inc. You can now receive all building permits and schedule inspections at the Navassa Town Hall. SAFEbuilt Inc. will be working with Navassa to administer building code plan reviews and building code inspections.

Permitting & Inspections Department Hours:
Citizens needing to meet with the Permitting and Inspections Department to discuss development projects are encouraged to make an appointment. Appointments can be made with Sean Ryan, Navassa Town Planner, anytime Monday-Thursday from 8am-4pm. Please call 910-371-2432 or email sryan@townofnavassa.org with any questions you may have.
Inspections that are called in by 4:00pm will be conducted on the next business day.
